Anmol ,brother of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has allegedly admitted involvement in the shooting outside Salman Khan’s residence, likening it to a “trailer” and issuing a warning to the actor. Anmol, a fugitive wanted in India and reportedly hiding in the US, cautioned Khan about underestimating their strength in a social media post.
The shooting, carried out by unidentified assailants on motorbikes, occurred early Sunday morning outside Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra. Although no injuries were reported, security around Khan’s residence has been heightened, and investigations are ongoing.
Sources suggest a possible connection between the shooters and gangs in Haryana and Rajasthan, particularly linked to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Interpol has issued a notice against gangster Rohit Godara, believed to have associations with Bishnoi’s group.
The Bishnoi gang, known for previous threats against Salman Khan, was also involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. Anmol, alias Bhanu, is wanted in connection with Moose Wala’s killing and has been on the run, last spotted in Kenya in 2023. Salman Khan, in response to previous threats, has been provided with armed security and holds a personal weapon license for his safety.
