Adding to India’s achievements, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has made it to the elite group of top 25 institutions worldwide for business and management studies. Notably, IIM Bangalore and Calcutta also shine in the global arena, securing positions within the top 50.
QS Rankings evaluate universities based on various factors including academic reputation, international faculty ratio, and international student ratio. These rankings serve as a benchmark for assessing university performance and are highly regarded globally.
QS Rankings provide a comprehensive evaluation of universities across more than 50 specific academic disciplines, including Business, Mathematics, Medicine, and Law. Additionally, they assess university performance in broad faculty areas such as Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.
India’s progress in higher education is evident in QS Rankings, with notable increases in key indicators. The country has seen a significant rise in Citations per Paper and International Research Network indicators, reflecting robust research output and global collaborations.
India’s regional rankings within QS reflect its growing influence in higher education. Ranking fifth for entries within the top 200 universities regionally and sixth for entries within the top 100 globally, India solidifies its position as a key player in the global academic landscape.
JNU’s top position among Indian universities in QS Rankings and India’s broader advancements underscore the country’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation. These achievements reaffirm India’s status as a hub of knowledge and contribute to its global recognition in the academic sphere.
