The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) initiated the online application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 examination on April 16 afternoon. Candidates can access the registration link on the official website — natboard.edu.in.
NEET PG 2024 is scheduled to take place on June 23, earlier than the previously announced date of July 7, 2024. Eligible candidates can register between April 16 (3 pm) and May 6 (11:55 pm).

Eligibility Criteria
– Completion of an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a university affiliated with the Medical Council of India (MCI) is mandatory.
– Medical graduates must possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by either MCI or the State Medical Council (SMC).
– Aspirants must have completed a 12-month rotatory internship.
– The cut-off date for internship completion towards eligibility for NEET PG 2024 is August 15, 2024.
The exam fee for NEET PG 2024 has been revised by NBEMS, with a reduction of Rs 750 for candidates of all categories. General and OBC candidates now have to pay Rs 3,500, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates will pay Rs 2,500.
NEET PG 2024 consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying 4 marks, totaling 800 marks. Candidates are awarded 4 marks for each correct answer, with a penalty of one mark for every incorrect response.
As per the revised schedule, the results of the postgraduate entrance examination will be declared on July 15, 2024. The counseling process is set to commence on August 5 and conclude on October 15, 2024. The new academic session will start on September 16, with the last date for joining being October 21, 2024.
