Union Minister Nitin Gadkari collapsed while delivering a speech at an election rally in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, on Tuesday afternoon. Thankfully, the senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader received immediate medical attention and was able to resume his speech after a short break.

“I experienced discomfort due to the heat during the rally in Pusad, Maharashtra. However, I’m now completely fine and heading to Varud for the next meeting. Thank you for your love and well wishes.”

A distressing video of the incident, unfortunately, circulated live on X (formerly Twitter), including from Mr. Gadkari’s own account, showing him being assisted offstage by his colleagues, who quickly formed a barrier to provide privacy to the BJP leader and his medical attendants.
