7 members of a family died in a devastating incident today, a massive fire engulfed Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, claiming the lives of seven individuals. According to officials, the victims included three women, two men, and two children who tragically lost their lives in the blaze.

The fire erupted in a tailoring shop around 4 am, sparking panic throughout the neighborhood. Prompt action by firefighters helped contain the flames, yet the toll was already grave with 7 fatalities reported.

Police Commissioner’s Statement

Manoj Lohiya, the Police Commissioner of Sambhaji Nagar, revealed that the fire originated in Alam Tailors shop. While the blaze did not reach the residential areas on the upper floors, it’s suspected that the victims succumbed to smoke inhalation.

Investigation and Post-Mortem

Authorities are diligently investigating the cause of the fire, with post-mortem examinations ordered for the deceased to shed light on the tragic event.
