Synopsis of the Series
Set in Heeramandi, Lahore, British India, the narrative revolves around Mallikajaan (Manisha Koirala), who reigns over an elite courtesan house. Her dominance faces a challenge with the return of Fareedan (Sonakshi Sinha), the daughter of her late rival. As tensions escalate within the house and the city simmers with revolutionary fervor against British rule, Mallikajaan’s daughters find themselves entangled in the fight for freedom. Amidst forbidden desires and societal norms, the struggle for India’s independence reaches a boiling point, as Mallikajaan and Fareedan engage in an epic battle for dominance.
