Usman Ghani, the district president of the BJP Minority Morcha in Bikaner, Rajasthan, was expelled from the party today for criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent remarks. Ghani, speaking to a news channel in New Delhi, predicted that the BJP would lose several Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan. He also condemned PM Modi’s comments about Muslims during election rallies in the state.
Expressing disappointment as a Muslim himself,Usman Ghani stated that voters within the community questioned him about PM Modi’s remarks when he sought their support for the BJP. He also noted the discontent among the Jat community towards the BJP in certain constituencies. Despite anticipating potential repercussions, Ghani asserted he was not afraid of any action the party might take against him.
